To the respected members and supporters of the Hawaii Korean Nurses Association.

Aloha! My name is Kyoung Eun Lee, the president of Hawaii Korean Nurses Association (HKNA). Welcome to the Hawaii Korean Nurses Association (HKNA). It is my great honor to serve as the president of this dedicated organization, where nurses come together to support one another, advance our profession, and contribute to the well-being of our community.

At HKNA, we are committed to making a meaningful impact through our work in community health, professional development, networking, and advocacy. Our organization plays a vital role in providing essential community services, including providing vaccinations, breast cancer awareness event, and health educational workshops for local Korean communities in Hawaii as well as running a first aid booth at major Korean community events in Hawaii. We extend our reach beyond the clinical setting, ensuring that those who need care the most are supported with knowledge and resources.

We also recognize the importance of lifelong learning in nursing. To foster professional growth, we offer continuing education programs, research opportunities, and scholarships for aspiring and practicing nurses. By investing in education, we not only empower individuals in their careers but also strengthen the nursing profession as a whole.

Beyond community service, HKNA is a place where nurses connect, support, and uplift each other. Through networking events and mentorship programs, we cultivate a sense of camaraderie among Korean nurses, helping one another navigate professional challenges while celebrating achievements together. The bonds formed within this organization are invaluable, providing a strong foundation for personal and professional success.
